Children’s Supervised Contact Worker - Would you like to become one?

Children's Supervised Contact Worker - this role involves supervising court ordered contact visits between children and their family members around Sydney. The role requires transporting children from one parent to another, spending time with them and

writing observational notes.

To be successful in your application you will have:

​*Experience or ability to work with children and families experiencing separation and family breakdown and high levels of family conflict and who may display challenging and difficult behaviours.

*Experience of working or studying in one or more areas: welfare, childcare, psychology, counselling, dispute resolution, relationship education, children's services, men's programs, and family and criminal law etc.

*Knowledge of child development, child protection and family violence issues.

*Excellent written and verbal skills - each contact requires a written report to be produced by the worker.

*Your own reliable car with comprehensive car insurance that you are willing to use for work purposes.

*Current driver’s license with a good driving record – RMS printout required on request.

*Current Working with Children Check – valid for paid work (or be willing to get one.

*Current National Police Check – valid for general employment (or willing to get one.

*Access to a mobile phone and computer with internet access.

*Minimum availability of three days per week and willingness to work weekends and be flexible with working hours between 8am to 8pm Mon-Sun.

*Winningness to travel anywhere in Sydney.

*Preferable access to child car seat/booster seat.
